Following our commitment to innovation, Hispanagar launches the new QSol® High Solubility Agar to the market.

This product is a natural hydrocolloid extracted from red algae with the special characteristic that it dissolves at lower temperatures and in less time than traditional agar. This type of agar completely solubilizes in water at 80 ºC and allows for a reduction of up to 25% in energy consumption in industrial processes compared to traditional agars while maintaining its properties.

The QSol® High Solubility Agar is mainly used in the dairy industry due to its low dissolution temperature, which perfectly adapts to industrial transformation processes in dairy products, but its use is also highly recommended in traditional applications such as pastry, bakery, sauces, dressings, and plant-based milk.
