Its basic repeating unit, called agarobiose, forms long chains and its structure contains both charged groups (such as sulfates and pyruvates) and uncharged groups, all of which are responsible for the properties of agarose.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among the different types of agaroses we offer, we find:&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Standard agaroses: perfect for the routine separation of DNA and RNA fragments across a wide range of sizes, including PCR fragments, detection techniques, cloning, and transfer, as well as for the preparation of plasmids. Among their main characteristics, we find their high transparency, which, along with their low background fluorescence, provides excellent visibility of the bands, their easy dissolution and rapid gelation, as well as a very low DNA fixation.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Low Melt agaroses: fundamentally differ from the previous ones due to their low melting and gelation temperatures and are obtained by the chemical modification of the structure of standard agaroses. Their low melting temperature allows for the recovery of intact and biologically active nucleic acids, and their low gelation temperature ensures that the agarose remains in a liquid state within a temperature range that allows for In-Gel manipulation without prior extraction of DNA from the gel. This type of agaroses presents greater clarity than gels prepared from standard agaroses and has a higher screening capacity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Molecular screen: they are chemically modified to obtain a structure that facilitates the separation of small DNA fragments and the resolution between similarly sized fragments.
